From a fellow Airman who was in Benghazi during the same time you were. I was there from September 1958 to September 1959 in communications maintenance. I remember your unfortunate incident but though the Det was small, radar and com didn't mix. There are many fond memories of the time there and the travels during time off.

Hi - I was born in Libya and my father was an MP from 55 to 58 I do believe. I had a picture of him at the front gate that I got off line but have lost the site. Do you know if there is a listing of sites related to service at Wheelus? This one was like "My Days At Wheelus AFB" or something to that effect.
Thanks - Frank

Hello Roy, It was nice to find your web page regarding COPD. I was recently diagnosed with it and I am really scared. I have searched the net for all info I can find. Yours' interested me the most. I am 42 years old and have smoked for over 30 years. My first Grandchild/son was just born 8-23-06, just one day after his Daddys' 19th Birthday. It is a blessing for all of my family, but now after this diagnosis I am scared, not only I want to be here for my Son to continue growing, but also I want to be here for my Grandson, Husband, etc. I still smoke after all this!!! If I only knew then what I know now?.! The addiction is horrible, however please have faith in me I will quit smoking. I have too much to live for and cigarettes have already taken alot of it from me. Theresa
